Tunisia-France, the probable formations
Likely lineups
Tunisia and France face off in the last round of the group stage of the World Cup in Qatar. The Eagles of Carthage are the bottom of Group D and even a win may not be enough to qualify for the round of 16. Mbappé and his teammates, on the other hand, have already clinched a pass for the round of 16 but are not yet certain of first place in the group.
Coach Kadri relies on the 3-4-3 already seen with Australia: Salernitana’s Bronn is in defense; Drager and Ali Abdi are on the sides in midfield; Jebali is confirmed in attack, with Msakni and Sliti completing the trident.
Deschamps opts for a large turnover ahead of the round of 16: Mandanda will be in goal in place of Lloris, totally new defense with the Konaté-Saliba pair in the center and Pavard and Camavinga on the flanks. Chances from the first minute also for Guendouzi and Fofana in place of Tchouameni and Rabiot. Mbappé is untouched, but with him will be Veretout and Coman to support the bomber Giroud.
