Highly tense ending of the match between Uruguay and Ghana at Qatar 2022: Edinson Cavani leaving the field vented his anger at the Var monitor.
The Matador, still enraged by the penalty denied to the Celeste in the match’s finale, which could have proved decisive for the South American national team’s qualification to the round of 16, threw a punch at the Var screen, causing him to fall to the ground in front of the officials.
The video images immediately went viral, and it is possible that Cavani will be punished for his gesture.
