For days Cagliari has had its eye on Ryotaro Araki, a Japanese jewel of the Kashima Antlers with a contract expiring in 2023. The midfielder, who entered the islanders’ radar for his ductility combined with great talent, has so far this season collected 17 appearances topped by 1 goal and 2 assists.

Araki’s value is around €1 million, but competition could raise the price. This is bad news for the two Italian clubs that were hoping to sign the midfielder at a very advantageous price.
