Verona to Marco Zaffaroni

Verona has a new coach.

In fact, the Venetian club announced today that it has entrusted the technical leadership of the first team to coach Marco Zaffaroni, born in Milan on January 20, 1969.

Zaffaroni will be joined by Coach Salvatore Bocchetti. The technical collaborator will be Luigi Pagliuca. The athletic trainers will be Marcello Iaia and Riccardo Ragnacci. The goalkeeper trainer will be Massimo Cataldi. The match analyst will be Guido Didona.

“I thank President Maurizio Setti, Technical Area Manager Francesco Marroccu and Sporting Director Sean Sogliano for the trust they have shown me. I am proud of the appointment I have received and aware of the difficulties we will all have to face and overcome together in order to try to rise in the standings. I will focus all my strength and energy on the pitch together with Coach Bocchetti, all the staff and the players. This long championship break will allow us to get to know each other well and work at our best, so that we will be ready when the championship resumes on Wednesday, January 4.”
