Ducati, Dall’Igna unabashed: “Rivals copy our ideas”
The general director of the Borgo Panigale house unabashedly speaks his mind
The last was a triumphant season for Ducati, which in addition to winning the riders’ title with Pecco Bagnaia, also won the title for the constructors’ category, not to mention the success of Alvaro Bautista in the Superbike category.
The general manager of the Borgo Panigale factory, Luigi Dall’Igna, on the sidelines of the FIM awards ceremony held in Rimini on the evening of Saturday, December 3, took stock of the last year, without, however, sparing a dig at rivals: “A season with wonderful results, we are proud of the one-two and the work done. Alvaro’s title is second to none, but I had never won the riders’ title in MotoGP. Seeing rivals copy our ideas makes us a little proud, it’s confirmation of the goodness of our ideas.”
