F1 Ferrari, indiscretion on 2023 engine exhilarates fans
Haas team principal Steiner: “Binotto told me.”
Haas team principal Gunther Steiner, on the sidelines of the Bandini Trophy award ceremony, revealed a backstory about Ferrari’s 2023 engine: “I met Mattia Binotto, he told me that the engine for next season will be a bomb,” are the words reported by Ravenna Today.
“In Emilia Romagna there is a lot of support for Ferrari, and if it will be competitive it will be good for us too, because it means we will have a fast engine,” Steiner continued. On Haas’ goals: “In 2023 we want to grow even more, make another leap in the standings, always fight for points and one fine day stand on the podium. You need big goals to achieve them and grow.”
The balance on 2022: “The season we just finished went well, but it could have been better. We can consider it a year of growth. This year Kevin Magnussen gave us a pole position.”
