Sunday night’s loss to Trieste cost Max Menetti his bench.
In fact, the day after the ninth day of the Serie A game, Pallacanestro Reggiana announced that it had relieved him of his duties as head coach of the first team.
The team as of today has been temporarily entrusted to assistant coach Federico Fucà.
Menetti, former coach of Reggio Emilia from 2011 to 2018, had returned this year after his experience at the helm of Treviso. The haul of two wins in nine days, however, prompted the club to relieve him.
