Red Bull advisor crushes the Mexican
Red Bull adviser Helmut Marko believes Max Verstappen is currently unreachable, even for teammate Sergio Perez.
“In general, I don’t see anyone who can challenge Verstappen over an entire season. Checo Perez can definitely win one or two races a year, but at the moment I really don’t think he can challenge Max in a championship,” he admitted in an interview with the Germans from ‘Bild’.
“We want to be just as dominant in 2023, there is always room for improvement, even if it is very difficult. For example on reliability. But in general we still need a perfect day to beat Mercedes and Ferrari,” Marko continued.
