Jannik Sinner, so many biggies in Adelaide
Sinner will return to the field in Australia, in Adelaide
After season-ending injuries to his ankle and index finger in his hand, Jannik Sinner has chosen that he will return to the court at the Atp 250 tournament in Adelaide, scheduled in Jan. 2-8, 2023.
The tournament, along with Melbourne, is the last of the events before the first slam of the season: the Australian Open.
On the entry list for the Australian event, however, several big names appear. Therefore, it will not be a walk in the park for the South Tyrolean tennis player.
Also in Adelaide will be fresh Atp Finals winner Novak Djokovic, Felix Auger-Aliassime fresh from his Davis Cup triumph with Canada, beating Australia in the final, Holger Rune, Andrey Rublev, Daniil Medvedev, Denis Shapovalov and Andy Murray. Current Atp No. 1 ranking Carlos Alcaraz will not be there.
