Genoa management is looking for reinforcements for Gilardino

Genoa, in Alberto Gilardino’s first time on the Grifone bench, regained victory in the match against Sudtirol, after earning only two points in the last five games of the Blessin management.

The management of the Rossoblù club, despite the three points, is working to give reinforcements to the former Primavera coach during the winter soccer session, and the first department that could be tweaked is the offensive one.

Several names have been floated for Genoa’s attack but the latest one has its own appeal, as it is the player of city rivals Sampdoria, Francesco Caputo. For the striker, who arrived in Liguria in 2021, however, the track of a return to Empoli, where he played before moving to Sassuolo in 2019, still remains alive.

The 1987-born player is finding great difficulty in the league, and the Blucerchiati’s corporate issues certainly do not help. Therefore, the track that would bring Caputo to the other side of the Ligurian capital could heat up further.
