Sister of Portuguese star player clamors for ct’s farewell

Portugal is out of the World Cup, eliminated by a Morocco that literally left every ounce of energy on the field in order to bring home a historic result. As in the previous match, triumphantly won by the Lusitanians against Switzerland, Cristiano Ronaldo started the match from the bench. Despite the robonate victory against the Helvetians, marked by Gonçalo Ramos’ hat trick, who had blown CR7’s starting spot, the former Juventus player’s partner, Georgina Rodriguez, had entrusted a harsh message on social media against coach Fernando Santos’ choices.

Now that defeat has even arrived, breaking Portugal’s World Cup dream, the Argentine model has not restrained her anger even more, expressed through her Instagram profile.

“Today your friend and coach decided to make a mistake. That friend for whom you have so many words of admiration and respect. The same one who, when he put you on the field, saw how everything changed, but it was too late. You cannot underestimate the best player in the world, his most powerful ‘weapon’. You cannot defend someone who does not deserve it. Life gives us lessons. Today we did not lose, we learned,” thundered Georgina.

Even more explicit was CR7’s sister Elma Aveiro who, as reported by the Portuguese newspaper ‘A Bola,’ even launched the hashtag #fernandosantosout on Twitter, accompanying her thoughts with some very harsh words within an Instagram story, “They killed the man, they killed a national team, they killed a nation.”
