AC Milan is in a hurry: two renewals in their sights: Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud

Portuguese is the number one priority

Milan does not want to waste time. The priorities are called Leao and Giroud. The former, little used at the World Cup but still able to score two goals, is considered fundamental for the present and future of the Diavolo. As soon as he will be in Milanello, they will return to talk about the renewal with the goal of getting to the coveted white smoke as soon as possible. The signs are comforting with Leao seeming well disposed and determined to stay (despite the fact that so many top clubs are on his trail, Real Madrid included).

Also watch out for Giroud who is scoring heavy goals in Qatar. The Frenchman’s contract expires at the end of the year but the feeling is that he will stay at the Diavolo for another season. There is talk of a one-year renewal at the same figures as this year, or 3.5 million euros in wages. Leao and Giroud are a real obsession for Maldini and Massara.
