Scaroni doesn’t want to waste any more time

In a lengthy interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, Scaroni addressed the sensitive issue of the new stadium. The Rossoneri president reiterated his desire to have an owned facility as soon as possible. A stadium that is up to the task is needed for Milan’s future.

“We are waiting for the report from the municipality. If they suggest feasible changes, we will execute. If they ask for upheavals, no thanks. It could get to hold 65,000 to 70,000 spectators. In parallel we are following other paths: a gateway to Sesto San Giovanni, but it is not the only one. Where it is unblocked first, we will proceed,” the clear words of Diavolo president Scaroni. The ball is now in the Municipality of Milan’s court.

The long-standing issue of the new stadium has been dragging on for a long time. Scaroni wants to reach a final conclusion, a certain answer, as do the Rossoneri people.
