Nick Kyrgios returns to Roland Garros as a matter of the heart
The Australian has been missing from the Paris tournament since 2017
He has never been a fan of clay, but, next year, Kyrgios will be on the Roland Garros roster. His last appearance in Paris was in 2017. Where did this decision to return to play the French Slam come from?
The blame (or credit) goes to Costeen Hatzi and his wish: “My girlfriend wants to visit Paris, so I will play Roland-Garros 2023. It will be good for me because I will be able to earn some extra money, although I would have preferred to stay at home,” the Australian tennis player’s words. Since he has the beautiful Hatzi by his side, the 27-year-old Kyrgios has matured so much and, most importantly, achieved great results. Who knows, maybe he will also be a protagonist on the clay that he hates so much.
