At Sky Sport Adriano Panatta wanted to remember Sinisa Mihajlovic this way, “We played tennis together once, he was a great athlete, a great soccer player. We have mutual friends who were saddened, he was a person who made people love him.”
“We all hoped he would make it; I will always carry a good memory of him. I remember when he played with Lazio and had to take a free kick even from very far away I was afraid he would score for us. And he would always score goals for us. He was a leader on the field, he was a strong person, and he showed that even when he was a coach,” the racket legend said.
