In that year, after losing the Copa America, Pulce had decided to leave the national team. Scaloni reposted the message urging the Argentine 10 not to leave the albiceleste. Fortunately for him, Messi reconsidered and, six years later, together they are celebrating a flawlessly won World Cup. Scaloni owes everything to Messi, but Messi also owes a lot to Scaloni, who put him back at the center of the project.
