Excellent TV ratings on Rai channels for the weekend’s competitions concerning alpine skiing.
The men’s downhill in Val Gardena on Thursday, December 15, broadcast on Rai Due, was seen by 474 thousand viewers, or 5.46%, while on Friday, December 16, the women’s downhill in St. Moritz on Rai Due, with Elena Curtoni in first place and Sofia Goggia second, grossed 334 thousand viewers, or 6.55% share. On Saturday, Dec. 17, Rai Due broadcast the women’s downhill in St. Moritz won by Sofia Goggia, which registered 415 thousand viewers for 8.23% share.The day continued with the men’s downhill in Val Gardena, which celebrated Mattia Casse’s third place with 684 thousand viewers, or 8.19% share.
Moving on to Sunday, Dec. 18, the men’s giant slalom in Alta Badia, broadcast on Rai Due, had an audience of 439 thousand viewers in the first run (equal to 6.58% share), and grew sharply in the second run, seen by 1.34 million viewers for a share of 9.28%. The women’s super giant slalom concluded by Elena Curtoni in second place, which was broadcast on RaiSport, gained over 460 thousand viewers.
