Antonio Conte, new no to Tottenham
The Lecce coach’s future in London remains in the balance
Antonio Conte has said no to Tottenham’s renewal offer. During the World Cup, Spurs had offered a major contract, with a raise of more than £1 million a year, but the Lecce coach, reports the Daily Mail, has again stalled.
Conte, who has been approached in Italy by Juventus, is due to expire his contract in June. From the London club, he wants reassurances about the summer market and the club’s willingness to continue investing to remain at the top of the Premier League.
