Fiorentina, Amrabat calls a Moroccan teammate.
Another of the Atlas Lions could be donning the purple uniform
Sofyan Amrabat is fresh from the great World Cup in Qatar played with the Moroccan national team, which finished fourth only exiting in the semifinals against future world vice-champions France.
The former Hellas Verona midfielder among others, however, may no longer be the only holder of the Lions of the Atlas to wear the lily club’s jersey after the winter soccer session.
In fact, the purple leadership and sporting director Daniele Pradè are looking for reinforcements in attack to give to coach Vincenzo Italiano and one of the names in contention is a compatriot of Amrabat: he is the outside forward and if necessary also an offensive midfielder Sofiane Boufal.
The 1993-year-old plays in the French top league and plays in the ranks of Angers, but he has also had experience in La Liga with Celta Vigo and in the Premier Ligue with Southampton. His great quality is his dribbling, which he often showed off even in the recently completed World Cup.
