Two options for one of Pisa’s heroes
Two options for Machin
José Machin is finding little space in Palladino’s Monza. A major player in the Brianzoli’s historic promotion to A, complete with a goal at the Arena Garibaldi in the return match with Pisa, the Guinean midfielder has collected only four appearances in the league.
In January, the departure of the talented former Pescara and Brescia player is all but ruled out: both Salernitana and Spezia are moving on him, formations that would allow Machin to remain in the top division.
Monza is playing its first Serie A championship: the Brianza team achieved a historic promotion by imposing itself in the double playoff with Pisa. On the bench of the biancorosso eleven was Giovanni Stroppa, who was exonerated after six days of the current tournament and only one point scraped together, thanks to the draw in Lecce.
