CR7 found no place in Europe

As reported by Marca, Cristiano Ronaldo’s future seems now sealed. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner, after trying to find accommodation in Europe (unsuccessfully), seems now determined to sign a rich contract in Saudi Arabia. The princely deal will run for a very long time, until 2030.

Specifically, CR7 will sign a two-and-a-half-year contract with Al Nassr and then become Saudi Arabia’s ambassador in view of the 2030 World Cup bid. This is an important role that, thanks to his status, he will be able to fulfill without any problems. However, for the time being, the goal is to continue playing. The salary, for the two and a half years as a player, is expected to be 200 million euros in total. The transaction is expected to be made official.

Cristiano Ronaldo, then, is ready to say goodbye to Europe for good and put himself on the line in the Arab world. The fact that he also has a role post his playing career seems to have been decisive in his choice.
