The 2022 Formula 1 season ended with the second consecutive title won by Red Bull driver Max Verstappen. A curiosity about the last championship was the zero in Lewis Hamilton’s win box, which has never happened since the Briton entered F1 in 2007.

There were, however, many drivers who disappointed expectations, not only of the team but also of the fans. A poll by ‘FormulaPassion’ asked fans in the circus who, during the 22 grand prix runs, was the worst.

Several drivers voted, even with some excellent names such as Daniel Ricciardo, but in first place in this special ranking was the now former Williams driver Nicholas Latifi. The Canadian, who will not be driving a Formula 1 car next year, reached almost 50 percent of the votes ahead of Ricciardo himself, Mick Schumacher, Yuki Tsunoda and Lance Stroll.

Latifi finished the championship in 21st position with two points collected in the 22 races and with his best result in Japan, where he finished ninth.
