He will not return to Turkey’s bench
Fatih Terim, an old acquaintance of Italian soccer (he coached Fiorentina and, for a few months, AC Milan), is about to return to the game. After leaving his beloved Galatasaray last January 10, the Emperor has decided it is time to return to coaching.
He told Sportal.co.uk during the Golden Foot event as well, “I had never stopped so long. Now there is a project, let’s see,” his words. He will definitely not return to coach Turkey (“Now it is in the hands of others”). There is talk of a South American club. Born in 1953, Fatih Terim is a true legend of Turkish soccer (he won a whopping eight national championships at the helm of his beloved Galatasaray).
