The Argentine looks set to renew with PSG
After winning the World Cup, Messi is facing another very important (personal) challenge, namely deciding his future. His contract expires at the end of the season but it seems now certain that he will renew (annually) with PSG.
This is also certified by the words of Laporta, Barcelona’s number one: “He is a player owned by PSG. He won the World Cup and that’s something that made the Catalan fans happy, because it was a title he deserved. But I don’t want to generate expectations that are very difficult right now,” his words to the blaugrana TV channel. In short, a return of the Pulce to Barcelona seems really impossible.
