Australian Open, Novak Djokovic does not forget.
The Serbian champion has only one goal in mind
Putting the controversy surrounding the 2022 edition behind him and returning to dominance in the one that will begin in a little over two weeks: that is the goal of Novak Djokovic, who has been confirmed to be at the starting ribbons of the 2023 Australian Open since the restrictions that applied last year to unvaccinated workers intending to set foot in Australia are no longer in force.
“What happened last year is part of the past,” Nole said, not forgetting what happened but trying to put it all behind him, on the sidelines of an event in Dubai. “I hope the Australian public wants to welcome me, helping me express my best tennis. In the past, starting well from Australia brought me good for the rest of the season, I hope it will be the same this time.”
Djokovic also answered a question about his future: “As long as I have the fire in me and as long as I play at a high level, I have no doubts: I will continue.”
