“I would say it went pretty well, especially in some sections. The slope was so moved and quite fast, I wasn’t used to these conditions lately. The snow? It’s warm, a little wetter but there is a lot of grip. Overall it was a good test. I still need to tweak something but the feeling was not bad at all.”

Better went to Innerhofer, first. “I immediately felt good feelings as I have since the beginning of the season. So far it hasn’t turned out right, I don’t like fresh snow and so far we have instead raced with snowfall in the days before the race. I’ve been skiing smoothly, I know the slope by heart… The snow? It’s not bad, it’s a little choppy but it’s the snow I like.”
