Marta Bassino: “Happy with how I’m doing.”
Marta Bassino scored her third podium finish in a row
With her third place in Semmering, Marta Bassino scored her third World Cup podium in a row: “I am very happy with this second run. It was actually a lot more skiable than the first one, it came out a little bit harder and nice terrain: I found a better feeling, even though it was still hard to push because there was not much cornering and you really had to go down without respect almost. I’m happy overall with how it’s going.”
The balance of the season so far is positive: “I’m happy, I had started well and I know I’m skiing well-I have to do it all the time and eventually the results come. Tomorrow we will do a good reconnaissance and then my support will be the usual of skiing the right way, with the right pushes. I’m very happy with how it’s going, even if in the first run it was a bit behind the times I knew I could play it. Tomorrow we will have another chance, the track will be the same. Today I made podium for the first time in this location in my career, let’s go on like this,” are the words taken from Fisi.
