Genoa, probe for a young Serie A striker
Griffon’s survey for a young striker
Genoa’s management is intent on making market transactions during the January window, this despite the rise in the standings that began after Alberto Gilardino arrived on the Rossoblù bench in place of the exonerated Alexander Blessin.
The first department for which the Grifone is working is definitely the attack, all the more so after an interest emerged from Ascoli for Massimo Coda, author of six goals since the beginning of the championship. However, the track turns out to be more viable in view of the summer soccer market.
Genoa is therefore evaluating profiles for the offensive department, and one of the latest ideas is for a young striker from Spezia: it is the Slovakian born David Strelec, scarcely used so far by coach Luca Gotti, mostly for game spurts. The player, who scored one goal in the first part of the season, arrived in Liguria in 2021 from Slovan Bratislava.
