Torino seeks midfield reinforcement: two Parma players in their sights
Torino is looking for a midfielder
Pietro Pellegri’s injury has forced Torino to intervene in the market in search of a replacement with Eldor Shomurodov the main target, outgoing from Roma, hardly ever used by Jose Mourinho. The Granata management is working not only to fix the attack but also to look for a midfield reinforcement.
The Turin club has reportedly set its sights on two midfielders on the strength of Parma: the first is Adrian Bernabè, a young Spanish talent born in 2001; the second profile is an old acquaintance of Italian soccer and bears the name of Franco Vazquez, formerly of Palermo and Sevilla, who would offer a viable alternative in the three-quarter to coach Ivan Juric.
The sporting director of the Granata club Davide Vagnati is pushing to try to snatch at least one of the two midfielders from the Ducal club, but the biggest obstacle is the unwillingness of the Crusaders’ coach Fabio Pecchia to have to give up two of his most used players.
