VR46 flies, Uccio reveals the mood of Valentino Rossi

The team manager of the stable founded by Valentino Rossi: “Proud of the work done.”

VR46 Racing Team team manager Alessio “Uccio” Salucci made a flattering assessment of the season just past to the microphones of Speedweek: “If someone had told me in February this year that we would have a season like this, I would have signed with my blood.”

“I’m really satisfied. We worked hard on all fronts. I’m proud of our people and our riders. Vale is also very happy,” Valentino Rossi’s right-hand man said.

Luca Marini was consistently confirmed in the Top Ten after a more difficult start to the season, while Marco Bezzecchi won the rookie of the year award. “The balance is super positive: Bez is Rookie of The Year, but Maro was also consistently fast, especially in the last races of the season. Bez has also been on the podium and we have finished fourth a couple of times. As a team, we finished not far behind Suzuki and ahead of Honda. I’m really happy, but you always have to try to keep working, improve and find something to be better at next year.”
