Milan, purchase of a new goalkeeper finalized: next steps
A new goalkeeper on the way, whose purchase will be official perhaps as early as Monday.
Devis Vasquez will be a new goalkeeper for AC Milan. In fact, the Rossoneri club finalized his purchase on New Year’s Eve on an outright basis from the Paraguayans of Guaraní, according to reports in the ‘Gazzetta dello Sport’.
A Colombian born in 1998, 195 cm tall and weighing 93 kg, according to the ‘Rosea’ Vasquez represents a prospective purchase and not the expected deputy of Mike Maignan, who is still out with injury. Moreover, the new Rossoneri goalkeeper will occupy one of the slots reserved for non-EU nationals available to Milan.
Vasquez arrived in Milan late in the afternoon on New Year’s Eve, while medical examinations and contract signing are scheduled for Monday. At that point Vasquez will return to Colombia, to return permanently to Milan by mid-January.
