Maleh from Fiorentina to Lecce on loan

Lecce strengthens its midfield department with the arrival of Youssef Maleh from Fiorentina. It was the Salento club itself that confirmed the market operation, with a note published through its channels on Tuesday morning.

“U.S. Lecce announces that it has acquired, on a temporary basis with the obligation of redemption in the event of staying in Serie A, the right to the sports performance of the player Youssef Maleh from ACF Fiorentina,” the statement read. The player, who is already in Lecce and has undergone medical examinations, will wear jersey No. 32.

Born in Castel San Pietro Terme to Moroccan parents in 1998, Maleh boasts five appearances in the Italian Under-21 national team while at the elite level he decided to represent Morocco, despite not being called up for Qatar 2022.
