Bari, risk of upheaval in attack but there are already alternatives
Bari risks losing Cheddira and Antenucci
Bari has had a very good first part of the championship. Michele Mignani’s men, despite a slight drop in the last few games, occupy the fourth position in the cadet tournament standings, but after the winter soccer market session they could see their attack disrupted.
In fact, the Apulian club risks losing two staples of the attack: the first is undoubtedly Walid Cheddira, Serie B’s top scorer with 10 goals and a semifinalist in Qatar with the Moroccan national team, and the second is Mirco Antenucci, less decisive than the former Mantova man but still scoring on five occasions.
The number 11 of the Bari-based team has numerous suitors, even in Serie A: in fact, Torino, all the more so after Pietro Pellegri’s muscle injury that will keep him away from the field for at least a month, could decide to go beyond the inquiries already made. While for the 1984-born center forward there is Avellino, currently playing in the Serie C championship.
Bari’s management is already sounding out possible alternatives and the most popular one is certainly the one that would lead to Cagliari’s Leonardo Pavoletti. In the background also remains the hypothesis of Monza’s Dane Gytkjaer.
