Expected to the NBA proscenium after cashing in on the satisfaction of being selected as the first ace pick in the Draft, Paolo Banchero so far has not failed to live up to expectations. Despite his Orlando Magic’s season so far being far from exciting, the Italian-American rookie is delighting the audiences in American arenas with true veteran plays and performances.
In the midst of the race to participate in the 2023 All-Star Game – the event will be held in Salt Lake City, in the state of Utah, from February 19-21, 2023 – the player spoke at a press conference after his team’s last game, which lost to Memphis despite a personal 30-point effort with 50 percent from the field.
“Honestly it’s a crazy thing to see my name so high up there – Banchero has so far accumulated 212,417 votes for the star race – : but I can’t hide: I see things from a different perspective.
