Pioli has clamored, loudly, for him to remain a longtime Rossoneri
Leao’s future continues to cause discussion. The Portuguese is now the Devil’s true top player. The club is doing everything to convince him to renew his current contract, which expires in June 2024. At the moment, however, the classic white smoke has not yet arrived (although there seems to be a willingness on both sides to reach an agreement).
The good news, however, is that Leao will definitely not move during this market window. In this day and age, with top clubs eager to pull off major strikes, it is, however, news that will please Pioli, who, with Leao at the forefront, is aiming to completely close the gap on top-ranked Napoli.
