Carlos Sainz chooses Marc Marquez as ‘new partner’: the post

Carlos Sainz is preparing for a 2023 in which he aims to be a major player again in Formula 1 behind the wheel of his Ferrari. And, with track activities currently halted (while also waiting for the presentation of the new single-seaters), for him as for his colleagues it is time for athletic preparation. Which the Cavallino driver has decided to carry out with a very special companion: Marc Marquez.

“I found a new training partner for the preseason,” Sainz in fact wrote on his official Instagram profile. And in the image he can be seen stretching outdoors together with a smiling Marc Marquez.

Importantly, Sainz and Marquez, both Spaniards, have been on good terms for many years. In fact, in addition to their nationality and passion for motorsports, the two have also shared a major sponsor in the past. No mystery, then, behind their friendship.

This is not even the first time, moreover, that good relations have emerged between protagonists of two and four wheels that could turn fans’ noses up. If, in fact, Sainz, a Ferrari driver, has made no bones about showing himself alongside that Marquez little loved by the Italian public, in the past Valentino Rossi has often been seen together with Lewis Hamilton, the Cavallino’s eternal adversary.
