An important experience, which can provide great momentum toward the new season.

Martina Trevisan put the United Cup, where she achieved the feat of beating the fearsome Greek Maria Sakkari, world No. 6 and the best Hellenic tennis player on the entire circuit, to the archives. And at the end of the event she decided to take stock of what the Sydney test will entail for her career.

“I have experienced two incredible weeks, but the most important thing is the growth I am experiencing both on and off the court,” she explained at the close of the United Cup. “Every match I played gave me a lot of experience, and this will allow me to face 2023 with a lot more confidence in my means.

“I am thrilled to be part of this team and to have been able to experience moments like this,” added Martina Trevisan. Who then listed her Italian colleagues who are role models for her: “Sara Errani, Roberta Vinci, Flavia Pennetta, Francesca Schiavone. Theirs has been an incredible career, the goal is to try to catch up with them.”
