Marc Marquez, bitterness is double: the message to Honda
The double admission, both about the past and the present, is bitter.
Marc Marquez is preparing to return to the track for the next test session in preparation for the new MotoGP season. And the Catalan has acknowledged that he is facing two difficulties at the same time: the search for that self-confidence that has been interrupted in recent years and that of competitiveness, which still seems to be taking a back seat at Honda.
“The work we have to do is quite a lot,” Marquez explained in an interview granted to Spanish broadcaster ‘Teledeporte.’ “The results we collected at the Valencia tests were below our expectations. However, I think the only manufacturer capable of reacting in the face of this kind of difficulty is Honda itself.”
Marquez then dwelt on the problems he in the front row is going through, “For me it is a completely new challenge. Until 2020, my career had been magical, while now I am understanding what it feels like to be in the opposite condition. Fighting with injuries is very complicated, so I have to perforce give my best in the preparation towards the new season.”
