Roma qualified for the Coppa Italia quarterfinals by beating Genoa 1-0.
At the Stadio Olimpico in the first half Mourinho’s men dominated but crashed into the crossbar hit by Pellegrini. In the second half, Paulo Dybala came on and decided the match in the 64th minute by leaping over half the red and blue defense and beating Martinez with a left-footed shot. The former Juventus man cheered with a cap dedicated to rapper Bizarrap, who also produced a song to celebrate Argentina’s World Cup victory.
The Giallorossi team thus clinched a pass to the quarterfinals, where they will face the winner of Napoli-Cremonese.
