Likely lineups

The challenge scheduled at the Carlo Castellani Stadium at 8:45 p.m. on Monday, January 16, will close the program of the 18th day of the Serie A championship. Facing each other will be Paolo Zanetti’s Empoli and Dejan Stankovic’s Sampdoria, which by the way during the January market have already concluded a deal, with Caputo returning to Empoli and Lammers moving to the Blucerchiata side.

Only one expected change among Paolo Zanetti’s men compared to the lineup that took the field at the Olimpico last week, drawing with Lazio: in fact, Filippo Bandinelli will return among the starting eleven, taking the place of Alberto Grassi. Confirmed in attack is the newcomer, right from Samp, Ciccio Caputo.

Seeking instead to return to victory the blucerchiata team, just back from the defeat against Napoli: even Stankovic should not upset the formation, sending on the field basically the usual eleven. The exceptions are the return of Colley and the choice of the young Zanoli on the right flank, who has just arrived from Napoli in the exchange that brought Berezynski to Campania.
