Spal has a Cagliari player in its sights
Spal’s soccer market gets into full swing
In Serie B, several clubs are active in the market to find reinforcements to give to their respective coaches: so is Daniele De Rossi’s Spal, which currently occupies the 14th position in the standings after 20 days in the cadet league.
The Estense club’s first goal is to find a striker who can offer guarantees to the former Roma and Boca Juniors midfielder among others. The latest name circulating for the Biancazzurro offensive department is that of Cagliari-owned center forward Vincenzo Millico.
The former Torino man has played only seven games with the island club’s jersey, and even with Claudio Ranieri on the bench it would not seem he could find more space on the field. Moreover, the class of 2000, the times he has taken the field he has never managed to find his first goal in the rossoblù jersey; instead, he has served two assists for his teammates.
Increasingly likely then is the transfer of Millico, who, in the course of this January market, will have to evaluate the goodness of the Estensi option as the next stage of his career.
