Ducati, Luigi Dall’Igna makes a promise for next season
The general manager of the Borgo Panigale house makes a promise
Last season Ducati dominated in MotoGp, winning the constructors’ title and the riders’ title with Pecco Bagnaia. Borgo Panigale factory general manager Luigi Dall’Igna, interviewed by the Germans from ‘Speedweek,’ spoke ahead of the upcoming championship and was keen to emphasize a goal the Italian manufacturer is pursuing.
“I think we have been a little more cautious this year. We have some things that will be able to help the riders and improve the performance of the bike, but they will not be big revolutions. More power is a goal that a technician should always pursue. With more power you are faster, and in racing it is much easier to overtake in the straights than in the corners. And this means that for the rider with the more powerful engine, it is easier to win a race,” the executive explained.
