Reyer Venezia, Marco Spissu doesn’t hold back on Walter De Raffaele
Spissu is in his first season with the Orangemen
Reyer Venezia point guard Marco Spissu is in his first season with the orogranata team and in the league he is traveling with an average of 10.1 made per game, 2.5 rebounds and 4.1 assists.
The former Dinamo Sassari player, in an interview with ‘Tuttosport,’ talked about his period of adaptation in De Raffaele’s system of play: “It’s going well. In the first period with a new team and group we took time to get to know each other. However, now we seem to have found the square. On Sunday we played a good game against a great team. And now we have a very important match against Bourg en Bresse, which leads the group with one more win than us, obtained at home. We have found the hierarchies on the court and a good relationship off it.”
Then the point guard continued with honeyed words for the Venetians’ coach: “One of the most prepared coaches I have had, very passionate and dedicated in his work. We went through an adjustment period. I think he also had to frame us. Now I feel his trust so much.”
Then a look at the Eurocup round: “We had a bit of an up-and-down first round. The important thing is to be there, to play it, it’s already an achievement.”
