Atalanta, Scalvini on the wish list of some top clubs
The 2003 class is in the sights of some top clubs
Giorgio Scalvini, class of 2003 launched last season by Gian Piero Gasperini, is literally climbing the hierarchies in Atalanta’s roster, mainly because of his great ductility that allows him to play both as a defender and as a midfielder.
The Nerazzurri youngster, fresh off his third Serie A goal scored in the 8-2 win over Salernitana, has reportedly entered the sights of a number of top clubs in Italy’s top league thanks to his performances in this first part of the season.
In fact, Inter and Juventus have already moved to inquire about the former Brescia man. Negotiations, however, are still complicated given the recent renewal of the class of 2003, who signed with the Bergamo club until 2027: a major offer will therefore be needed to wrest him from Atalanta.
