Obereggen, the City of Bolzano has its winners

Obereggen show between night skiing and snowboarding. The City of Bolzano Trophy, now in its 75th year, was held in the heart of the Ski Center Latemar. Overall winner of the giant slalom, held at night on the illuminated Oberholz slope in Obereggen, was Julian Kritzinger (Ski Team Alpe di Siusi) with a time of 1’08″05, who excelled in the Master A1 category.

The competition was attended, divided into categories, by master, youth, and senior athletes. In the youth/seniors the success was signed by Roland Alber (Asc Avelengo) in 1’09″30; in the Master A2 first step of the podium for Claudio Tiezza (Alta Badia) in 1’10″66; in the Master A3 first Luca Tiezza (Alta Badia) in 1’08″49; in the Master B4 victory went to Roland Fredi Kofler (Sarentino) with a time of 1’12″50; in the Master B5 over all Reinhard Leitner (Asc Plose) in 1’10″32; in the Master B6 success of Christian Oberthaler (Asc Ultimo) in 1’11″54.

The Oberholz slope is part of the “Latemar Sixpack,” literally “The 6 abdomens of Latemar” as much as the 6 slopes that allow you to go from South Tyrol to Trentino and back, skis or snowboard on your feet without ever unhooking.
