The Estense club dreams of a defender from Bologna

Spal’s latest market suggestion concerns the defensive department. The Estense club is intent on reinvigorating Daniele De Rossi’s back line, and in the last few hours a name has emerged that is stimulating the enthusiasm of Spallini fans.

It is Bologna-owned full-back Denso Kasius. The Dutch player born in 2022, who arrived in the summer from Utrecht, had made a great start to his first championship with the red and blue shirt. In the first seven days Kasius was always deployed, first by Mihajlovic and then by Thiago Motta, either as a starter or from the bench except in the match against Spezia, also serving two assists for teammates. Since the beginning of October, however, the defender has disappeared from the radar and has not collected a single presence, partly because of a calf injury.

The Dutchman is therefore hoping to find more space elsewhere, perhaps right in Serie B, where Spal has already expressed its liking for the player.
