Sting on Juventus, 15 penalty points
The Federal Court of Appeals has harshly sanctioned Juventus over the capital gains case.
Heavy hand of the Federal Court of Appeal against Juventus over the capital gains case. The judges decided to sanction the Juventus club with 15 penalty points in the current championship, going beyond the request of the Federal Prosecutor, who had proposed 9 penalty points.
Very harsh penalties were also imposed on the executives, for whom Uefa and Fifa were also asked to extend them: for Paratici 2 1/2 years of inhibition, 2 years for Agnelli and Arrivabene, one year and 3 months for Cherubini, and 8 months of inhibition for Pavel Nedved. The other eight clubs were acquitted.
Juventus, which will appeal to the Collegio di garanzia del Coni, finds itself at 22 points, 10th in the standings, after the penalty.
