Enea Bastianini spoke on the sidelines of the presentation event of the new Ducati Desmosedici with which he will race next season: “To wear the colors of the official team is a great emotion: now it’s up to me to prove that I have deserved this opportunity. I’m pumped up for the new season, in a couple of weeks we’ll be in Sepang for the first test of the year and it will be an important time to get to know the guys in the team better and start working on the bike: we have all the right cards to do well and have fun.”

“With 42 races on the schedule, a lot of consistency will be needed: qualifying in the past has stuck me a bit, but I have grown in the dry lap and I think the Sprint Race is important to make me progress further, since I am a diesel in the first laps,” concluded Bastianini, regarding the novelty of the Sprint Race.
