Simone Inzaghi gloats: “The boys were perfect.”

Simone Inzaghi can only be happy, fresh from the derby victory: “I am very satisfied, I congratulated the team because they were perfect. To be honest, I don’t remember a derby won and dominated in this way. Let’s not forget that we were coming from a costly Coppa Italia quarterfinal. Every Sunday you meet defenses of three or four. Tonight in the first half we bordered on perfection, in the second we were very good and conceded the first shot in the 75th minute. I congratulated the team, it’s a great satisfaction,” he said in the press conference.

“We had a great derby, winning two in 20 days I think doesn’t happen all the time. We don’t look forward or backward in the standings, only at us. Brozovic fits in wonderfully with everyone, he is a very strong player like Lukaku: we missed four months and someone remembers. The others went through a round of Champions, won the Super Cup and after some initial stumbles I think they won almost every game. Counting Monza I think we would have been almost perfect in the league.”

The Curva Nord decided not to create a case on the Skriniar issue: “I had no doubts because the boys are always. The whole stadium tonight was a great tow for the whole team, it accompanied us from start to finish but in all my time at Inter the fans have been exemplary.”
