Courchevel-Meribel World Ski Championships, medal table updated Feb. 6
The updated medal table
After the first day of competition at the World Ski Championships in Courchevel-Meribel, Italy is ahead of everyone in the medal table. The credit goes to the amazing Federica Brignone who, in the first race of the rainbow event, the women’s combined, hit the gold medal by placing ahead of Switzerland’s Wendy Holdener and Austria’s Ricarda Haaser.
The women’s combined, in addition to being the opening race, was also the only one on Feb. 6.
